I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who faces this problem. As a marketer, it's a bit embarrassing to say it's tough for me to market myself when I experience success in marketing others. I believe there's two reasons for my struggle: one, I'm too close to the topic. I know me and all the parts of me; and second, because I have multiple talents based on natural gifts and work experience, it's tough to choose what to focus the on, especially when you've been complimented on what you've done and what you have to offer. So if we simply can't do "one thing" and have to "do it all," we have to come up with a single topic that can wrap itself around the things we love to do.
